Russia Club also known as The Russian Insurance Club is an informal network of professionals. Established in 1995 in London by Risto Talas (at the time with J.L.Jones & Ors, Lloyd's of London) with active support of Tony Peck (then Regional Executive, Lloyd's of London) and participation of many Lloyd's syndicates and international insurance and reinsurance brokers, Russia Club has grown steadily over the past 20 years. It has over a hundred of regular attendees - brokers, insurers, bankers, surveyors, lawyers, accountants, linguists and other professionals, who in turn have network of contacts in industries, professions and finance.

The aim of the Russia Club is to promote co-operation between the London insurance market and Russian and FSU insurance companies and other businesses. Russia Club facilitates information exchange and assists with sharing contacts. In the Russian Federation Russia Club is well regarded by the Russian Union of Insurers, the Russian Insurance Supervision (Rosstrakhnadzor) and some Russian MPs (Duma members) involved with the insurance issues.
